You may edit this page: If you have something to say to me, use my talk page. If you have something to say about me, or can think of a way to make my user page look better, by all means edit it. It's worked great for various other Wikipedians, so I figured why not? :) My name is Nathan, and I graduated in May 2004 from the University at Buffalo with my BS in computer science and RIT in August with my MS, and am now back at UB for my Ph.D.. My long-term goal is becoming a college professor (probably in computability theory), or securing an industry position. This is me, until I can get a pic with better lighting (the computer's in the basement, with the lights behind it, and there's no way to hold the webcam so it points at me but the lighting is good and I can see the screen): Statement of POVs, intrinsic biases and self-descriptions:

I am a sysop, although my contributions in that regard are somewhat minor. I firmly believe that sysops should use our abilities only as servants of the community. I am also a bureaucrat, and help out with bureaucratic tasks when it's needed (which is perhaps an hour a week of work between all of us, so that also isn't my major contribution to Wikipedia). If you disagree with any of my actions, please discuss it on my talk page, or email me using the "email this user" option below. I have recently returned to Wikipedia after a long period of inactivity; I am not sure how active I will be, and intend to start slowly in my use of administrative tools.
I agree to multi-license all my contributions, with the exception of my user pages, as described below:
