Taking a rest by the pool :))
Hi! I have been contributing to Wikipedia since 2004/03/06. With over 30,000 edits to date, I am ranked 493 in number of edits. I created more than 300 articles, and 8 articles which I created or unstubbed reached FA status (Boshin War, Imperial Japanese Navy, Hasekura Tsunenaga, Indo-Greek Kingdom, History of Buddhism etc...). I also have contributed thousands of images and photographs from Museums around the world. My main interests revolve around cultural interaction through the Ages, and I enjoy developing content on these subjects. I am a fervent supporter of Wikipedia:NPOV policy, according to which all significant views should be presented in articles (not just arbitrarily defined "majority" views), and an inclusionist who feels that all true information, however seemingly minute, does belong to an encyclopedia that aims at being "the sum of all knowledge".

My top 25 mainspace article edits fairly reflect my interests for multi-cultural subjects through the ages: Franco-Mongol alliance - 1238 edits Indo-Greek Kingdom - 1228 edits (former Image:LinkFA-star.png) Imperial Japanese Navy - 447 edits (Image:LinkFA-star.png) Boshin War - 324 edits (Image:LinkFA-star.png) Hasekura_Tsunenaga - 270 edits (Image:LinkFA-star.png) Indo-Scythians - 263 edits Western Satraps - 209 edits Kushan Empire - 197 edits Rangaku - 193 edits Greco-Bactrian Kingdom - 191 edits Greco-Buddhism - 176 edits (former Image:LinkFA-star.png) Satavahana - 172 edits Franco-Thai relations - 166 edits France-Japan relations (19th century) - 164 edits History of Buddhism - 148 edits (former Image:LinkFA-star.png) Maurya Empire - 141 edits Menander I - 140 edits Indo-Parthian Kingdom - 122 edits Greco-Buddhist art - 117 edits (former Image:LinkFA-star.png) Bakumatsu - 104 edits Ai-Khanoum - 103 edits Chandragupta Maurya - 101 edits Kanishka - 95 edits Battleship - 95 edits Aircraft carrier - 93 edits

The 25 DYK Medal
Congratulations! Here's a medal for you in appreciation of your hardwork in creating, expanding and nominating 25+ articles for DYK. One of my favourite photographs: a syncretic Greco-Buddhist Buddha, art of Gandhara, 1st-2nd century CE. I took the photograph at the Tokyo National Museum.
