Impact pressure

El directorio enciclopédico desde la Wikipedia.

Impact pressure is the difference between pitot pressure (also known as stagnation pressure) and static pressure.[1] [2] In aerodynamics notation, this quantity is denoted as qc or Qc.

When input to an airspeed indicator, impact pressure is used to derive calibrated airspeed. An air data computer with inputs of impact pressure (or pitot presure) and static pressure is able to derive Mach number and equivalent airspeed
