[edit] NATO G bandThe G band in the modern (NATO/EU) sense is the range of radio frequencies from 4 GHz to 6 GHz in the electromagnetic spectrum. This is equal to wave lengths between 7.5 cm and 5 cm. The G band is in the SHF range of the radio spectrum. The G band is in the C band of the older classification system. [edit] IEEE G bandWith the older system, the G band covers frequencies from 200 to 250 MHz (1.5 m—1.2 m) and is in the modern A band.
