Elections in Barbados gives information on election and election results in Barbados. An election is a process in which a vote is held to elect candidates to an office. It is the mechanism by which a democracy fills elective offices in the legislature, and sometimes the executive and judiciary, and in which electorates choose local government officials.
Barbados has a bicameral Parliament consisting of a 30-seat House of Assembly and a 21-member Senate. The assemblymen are elected for five-year terms from single-seat constituencies; senators are appointed for five-year terms. The politics are two-party, dominated by the center-left Barbados Labour Party and the social-democratic Democratic Labour Party.
