The Baltimore-Towson Metropolitan Statistical Area is a Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) in Maryland as defined by the United States Office of Management and Budget (OMB). In 2007, its population was estimated at 2,668,056 by the Census Bureau, making it the 20th most populous MSA in the country.[1]
