Arnold Ludwig Mendelssohn (December 26, 1855 – February 18, 1933) was a German composer and music teacher. Mendelssohn was born in Ratibor (Racibórz), Province of Silesia. Paul Hindemith was one of his students. Mendelssohn did chorale cantata, operas, and others. After his death in Darmstadt, his works were banned in Nazi Germany because of his Jewish heritage.[1] [edit] References[edit] External links
