The 1999 Cricket World Cup was hosted primarily by England, but Ireland, Wales, Scotland and the Netherlands also hosted some games. The World Cup was won by Australia. Australia beat Pakistan by 8 wickets in a one-sided final at Lord's Cricket Ground in London. New Zealand and South Africa were the other semifinalists.
