.nc.tr is the Internet country code second-level domain (ccSLD) for the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). As the TRNC is not recognised as a sovereign state (except by Turkey) and the Cypriot domain name of .cy is not used in the north, the TRNC's access to the internet is carried on Turkey's first-level domain name of .tr. According to the search^[1] on Google search this country code second-level domain is only used by TRNC government sites with .gov in front of it (.gov.tr.tc). Most of the other sites in TRNC have Generic top-level domains like .com, .net or .org.
