.mu is the Internet country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for Mauritius. It is administered by the Mauritius Network Information Centre and registrations are processed via accredited registrars. Some registrars market it as the .music and .museum TLD.

In addition, a number of musical groups have started to use this domain, with .mu being used to indicate music. Some examples are the rock bands Muse (muse.mu) and Athlete (athlete.mu) and the country band Lonestar (lonestar.mu).

.mu is currently in the process of being redelegated from its current sponsoring organization Internet Direct Ltd. to the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (ICTA) of Mauritius. The redelegation to the new .mu registry is expected to be finalized by the end of 2007.
